Candle care

  1. 01

Stand it on a plate or a tile. Clay carries heat straight through to the surface underneath.

  2. 02

Trim the wick to 5mm before every light. A long wick smokes.

  3. 03

Never leave a lit lamp unattended, and keep it clear of curtains, rangoli powder and loose marigold.

  4. 04

Let the wax set hard before moving it, or the float shifts out of place.
