Burn it well

Candle care

  1. 01

Untie the jute and take off the beads before lighting. Both will catch.

  2. 02

Stand it on a heatproof dish or tile. A pillar has no container, so the wax runs where it will.

  3. 03

Trim the wick to 5mm before every light, and keep it out of a draught so it burns down evenly.

  4. 04

Never leave it burning unattended, and stop well before the flame reaches the base.
