Burn it well

Candle care

  1. 01

    Always burn it on a heatproof dish or plate with a lip. There is no container, so melted wax runs where it will.

  2. 02

    Keep it out of a draught, or it melts down one side and loses its shape.

  3. 03

    Trim the wick to 5mm before every light, so the flame stays small and the detail lasts.

  4. 04

    Never leave it burning unattended, and stop well before the flame reaches the base.
